DAY 1:
Welcome to Oman! Our guide will meet you at Muscat International Airport and transfer you to your hotel (if you would like to explore Muscat that day then this can be arranged).
DAY 2:
Muscat city tour including a visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (the only mosque open to non-Muslims in Oman), Muttrah souq, Al Alam Palace entrance for photos (the official residence of his Majesty), Bait Al Zubair Museum. Overnight in Muscat.
DAY 3:
Visit Al Naman Castle, Nakhal fort and then go off-road to enjoy a traditional Omani lunch in an Omani village located between the mountains.
Drive up to Jebel Shams Mountain (highest mountain in Oman) to reach the Grand Canyon of Oman. Overnight on Jebel Shams.
Day 4:
Balcony Walk in the Grand Canyon.
Drive down the mountain to visit the magical Al Hamra old houses, Bait Asafah museum, and Misfat Abriyeen village.
There is also the option to visit Bahla fort and the pottery factory. Overnight in Nizwa.
Day 5:
Explore Nizwa Souq market and Nizwa Fort.
Drive to Birkat Almouz oasis and Al Sibani Old village.
Drive up to Jebel Akhdar mountain and walk between old villages and farms.
Drive down to desert camp and watch the sunset from Dune. Overnight Wahiba Sands.
Day 6:
Drive over to Wadi Bani Khalid and enjoy the beautiful pools.
Learn about traditional Omani ship building in Sur at the Dhow Factory and then the old souq.
Overnight Turtles Reserve Hotel.
Day 7:
Explore the beautiful Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole for more beautiful natural pools and stunning scenery.
Drive back to Muscat Hotel or Airport.
Inclusion:
